Rider Alert reaches every new rider in the State

From the outset, it was the Rider Alert Steering Groups aspiration to get a Rider Alert Card into the hands (and helmet) of every trainee motorcyclist in the Commonwealth. This week, Team Rider Alert passed over the first batch of Cards to the DMV to be distributed to students enrolled in the Virginia Rider Training Program.

DMVs Rider Training Manager, Bruce Biondo, received the first cards to deliver to the estimated 16,000 new riders that pass through the course each year.  Rob Lawrence, State Lead for Rider Alert said ‘To say that we are delighted with this development is probably a massive understatement!’.
